Cushendall secured a place in the Antrim Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals after a 2-23 to 4-13 victory over Ballycastle at Pearse Park on Sunday evening.

The Ruairí Ógs led by six points at half-time, but Ballycastle fought back with four second-half goals to draw level. Cushendall then regained the lead with a goal from Joseph McLaughlin and held on for the win.

McLaughlin finished with 2-7 for Cushendall, while Ronan Laverty top-scored for Ballycastle with 2-2. Cadhan Crawford contributed 1-2 for the losing side.

Cushendall will face Loughgiel Shamrocks in the semi-final.
