The Bar of Northern Ireland has introduced a new website with a searchable directory of barristers. The site was developed with Belfast-based digital agency Eyekiller.

According to the Bar, the platform is designed to improve user experience and better demonstrate its regulatory and representative functions. It also aims to support public legal education by explaining the role of barristers in enabling access to justice.

Eyekiller described the searchable directory as the centrepiece of the site. The directory draws directly from the Bar’s own data, rather than manual updates, so that listings remain current. Users can find a barrister in seconds, the agency stated.

The new website replaces the previous Bar of Northern Ireland site, consolidating information about the profession and its regulatory framework in one place.
