Antrim's Intermediate and Junior Football Championships continued with a series of group-stage matches over the weekend.

In Junior Group One, Laochra Loch Lao defeated St Malachy's 2-19 to 0-11. The sides were level at half-time before goals from Fionntán Ó Tuathaláin and Conchubhar Mac Gafraidh helped Laochra Loch Lao pull clear. It was the club's first championship victory over St Malachy's.

St Mary's Rasharkin beat Na Piarsaigh 1-15 to 2-11 in the same group. Na Piarsaigh led by seven points after goals from Fionn Grew and Liam Deegan, but Rasharkin rallied after Cormac Gillespie received a red card. Andrew Hasson, Killian O'Boyle and Colm Kennedy scored late points, with Kennedy's effort sealing the win.

In Junior Group Two, Éire Óg edged O'Donnell's 0-13 to 0-11 at Coláiste Feirste. Conor Dixon scored five points and Eoin Dixon landed three two-pointers. O'Donnell's had two players sent off on red and black cards. Ardoyne Kickhams defeated St Brigid's Cloughmills 6-10 to 2-5. James Óg McAuley, Cahal Keown and Aidan McNeill contributed to a 4-7 half-time lead. Devlin O'Mullin scored two second-half goals for Cloughmills. St James' Aldergrove topped the group after a win over Gort na Móna.

In the Intermediate grade, Group One saw Davitt's beat St Agnes' 3-13 to 2-10. St Agnes' opened with a Killian McCormick goal, but Davitt's responded through Sean Smyth and Brady Maguire. Smyth scored a second-half goal to settle the contest. St James' Aldergrove beat Gort na Móna 3-20 to 0-17. Ronan Hanna and Lewis Smyth scored first-half goals and substitute Chris McCarthy added a third. Aldergrove secured top spot in the group.

In Group Two, St Joseph's Glenavy defeated St Comgall's 0-13 to 1-9. Torin Hodkinson's second-half goal put St Comgall's ahead, but Pearse O'Neill kicked a two-point score in added time to win it for Glenavy. St Mary's Ahoghill beat St Patrick's Lisburn 1-20 to 1-12. Leading by one point at the interval, Ahoghill moved 13 points clear after a Colla McDonald goal. James O'Connell and Tom McGlone finished the scoring for the hosts.
