Two men have been arrested after police found cannabis plants at a property in Larne.

Officers attended an address in the Millbrook area on Thursday 13 August following a report at about 9.20am about possible cannabis plants at the property. A search later confirmed the plants were present.

Both men, aged in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and using a motor vehicle without insurance. They remained in police custody.

A police spokesperson said tackling the supply of drugs is a priority for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. The investigation is ongoing.
