South West College has announced registration days for applicants at its campuses in Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh. Higher education applicants can register on 13 and 14 August, while further education and apprenticeship applicants can register on 20 and 21 August. Registration runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day. Attendees are asked to bring exam results and photographic ID.

The college offers courses from entry level to A-level equivalent qualifications, apprenticeships, university-level study and honours degrees. Careers advisers and tutors provide free advice and guidance. Students have smaller class sizes, personalised support, industry-standard facilities and tutors with industry experience. Courses are designed with employers to provide practical skills and qualifications.

Celine McCartan, the college principal and chief executive, said that receiving exam results is an important milestone and deciding on next steps can feel overwhelming. She said careers advisers help students explore options with confidence and choose a pathway that supports future aspirations. She added that high-quality education is available close to home, allowing students to achieve recognised qualifications with support and progression opportunities.

The college has also opened clearing for applicants who did not get the results they hoped for or who have changed their plans. Clearing allows applicants to explore new pathways and find courses that match their ambitions. Course availability may change during the clearing period, and some courses could become full or not run due to student numbers or other circumstances. The college said its admissions team will work with applicants to explore the best available options. Applications for September remain open.
