Trial date set for man accused of Poleglass manslaughter
A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing a West Belfast man outside a bar in Poleglass last year.
Joseph Martin Dempsey, 38, of Clonard Gardens, appeared at Belfast Crown Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to manslaughter. He is charged with unlawfully killing Joseph Brennan on 6 March 2024.
Mr Brennan, from Colinvale, Poleglass, was found with serious injuries following an altercation outside a local bar and later died.
The presiding judge set a trial date of 18 November and listed a review for 18 September. Dempsey was released on continuing bail.
