Cliftonville Ladies won their fourth successive NIFL League Cup on Sunday, defeating Glentoran 4-0 at Seaview. The result extended the north Belfast club's dominance in the competition.

Caitlin McGuinness opened the scoring in the 20th minute, holding off a defender to finish from a long ball. She added a second six minutes later with a powerful shot into the far corner.

Kirsty McGuinness made it 3-0 midway through the second half, converting a cross from Danielle Maxwell. Maxwell later sealed the win in the 82nd minute, scoring from the edge of the box after a poor clearance.

Cliftonville manager Brendan Lynch was sent off during the second half after receiving two yellow cards for dissent.

The victory continues a perfect start to the season for Cliftonville, who have won all five of their league matches so far.
