Police in Dungannon are seeking information after a herd of around 20 cows was found wandering in the town centre late on Saturday night.

The animals made their way into St Anne’s car park, apparently having arrived from the direction of Old Eglish Road. Officers were alerted and attended the scene.

By Sunday morning, the cows had been moved on from the car park. Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who recognises the animals or knows how they ended up in the town to come forward.
