Carnlough Man Pleads Not Guilty to Knife and Knuckleduster Charges
A Carnlough man has pleaded not guilty to weapons and other charges at Ballymena Magistrates Court.
Alexander Johnston, aged 31, with an address at Beachlands, faces allegations that he had a knife and a knuckleduster in a public place in the Carnlough area without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
He further denies resisting a police officer and failing to provide a breath specimen on 4 May this year.
The court heard the pleas on Thursday and adjourned the case to 18 June, when a date for a contested hearing will be fixed.
