Police are investigating criminal damage at the Murley Silver Band Hall site on Edfield Way in Fivemiletown.

The incident took place on 4 May at around 10pm. Perimeter fencing was damaged and the window of a digger was smashed.

Police believe three individuals were involved and are seeking to identify them.

The site is part of a redevelopment project. Construction work started after the final rehearsal in the previous hall in March.

Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA Colm Gildernew condemned the attack. He stated that those responsible did not represent the local community and called on anyone with information to contact police.

Police asked witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them on 101, quoting serial 1 from 05/05/26.
