Fibrus launches £50,000 grants for Northern Ireland sports clubs
Northern Ireland broadband provider Fibrus has opened applications for its Play it Forward Fund.
The scheme offers grants of up to £1,000 to grassroots sports clubs for equipment, facility improvements and participation projects.
Applications close on 12 June at midday.
The fund has already supported 152 clubs across Northern Ireland and Cumbria with more than £150,000 since 2023.
In 2025, 30 Northern Ireland clubs received funding, bringing the company's total investment in the region to more than £90,000 across 92 clubs.
Ski Ability NI in Craigavon used a £1,000 grant to extend hire time at the local dry ski slope.
The charity said the funding allowed around 50 young members aged five to 18 to access additional sessions.
