Christ the Redeemer Primary School in Lagmore has completed delivery of the Togetherness Programme.

The NHS-backed initiative trains parents, carers and staff to understand childhood brain development, build emotional resilience and strengthen family relationships.

Sessions allowed participants to discuss everyday parenting challenges and share coping strategies.

Parent Support Officer Alison Coleman said a parent survey identified behaviour management at home as a priority concern.

The school contacted the local Trust and worked with the Family Support Hub to arrange practitioner training.

Parents reported that the sessions created a safe, non-judgemental space and provided practical advice they could apply at home.

One participant noted the value of hearing other parents' experiences, particularly those with children who have additional needs.
