Arts Council Attends Chinese Tea Event in Belfast
The Tea for Harmony Yaji Cultural Salon took place for the first time in Northern Ireland at the Chinese Consulate General in south Belfast.
The event marked International Tea Day and featured exhibitions on Chinese tea culture along with demonstrations and tastings of Anhui teas.
Roisin McDonough, Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, attended along with representatives from Anhui Agricultural University and the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
The salon serves as a platform for cultural exchange and dialogue between Chinese representatives and participants from other regions.
The gathering highlighted traditional Chinese tea processing techniques and associated social practices.
