A man from Portadown has been found guilty by a jury of assaulting a 4ft 8 woman. The attack took place after he consumed crack cocaine and Fireball. He used a hammer, a plank of wood and a guitar in the assault.

The woman begged for her life during the incident. The man claimed self-defence. The jury rejected his claim and delivered a guilty verdict.
