Bridie Teague and her son Ciarán Teague presented a cheque for €1,210 to Clare Donohoe, co-ordinator of Pulmonary Fibrosis NI. The donation honours the memory of the late Bart Teague.

Family, friends and neighbours raised the funds at a gathering for Mrs. Teague's 80th birthday. Contributors supported the collection in Mr. Teague's name.

Mrs. Teague thanked attendees for their generosity during the celebration. She noted the support aids her family and those with the illness.

Ms. Donohoe expressed gratitude to the Teague family and contributors. She described the gift as a tribute to Mr. Teague.

The funds will assist services for patients and families in Northern Ireland. This includes respite at Puffin Lodge in Ballycastle and Inis Ceithleann Retreat at Lough Erne Golf Resort in Enniskillen.
