More than 50 firefighters responded to a large fire on Crossnamuckley Road in Newtownards.

Fire appliances attended from Bangor, Lisburn, Newtownards, Knock, Comber, Holywood, Donaghadee, Glengormley, Banbridge, Ballywalter, Cadogan, Springfield and Carryduff fire stations.

A command support unit came from Lisburn fire station. A water tanker arrived from Warrenpoint fire station. An aerial appliance joined from Knock fire station.

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service thanked the public for their patience during the response.
