The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland has opened applications for four commissioner positions at the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.

Candidates can download details and the application pack from the designated site. Alternative formats are available by emailing nihrc2026@nio.gov.uk.

Applications must be submitted online via the Cabinet Office website where possible.

The deadline is Friday, 1 May 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Appointments will follow merit-based selection and comply with equality rules in the Northern Ireland Act 1998.
