A new Food Warehouse store opens at Braidwater Retail Park in Ballymena on Tuesday, April 14. The store creates 23 new jobs.

Iceland Foods operates the store, which expands product options for local residents. An Iceland store exists on Ballymena High Street.

Customers arriving before 7.30am on opening day receive raffle tickets for a prize draw. Winners take part in a 90-second trolley-filling challenge.

At 7.45am, further prizes include seven Tower Air Fryers and one Daewoo Double Drawer Air Fryer for guessing the number of sweets in a jar. The first 150 customers get vouchers worth £1,500 total.

Exclusive deals run for the first week. Kristian Barrett, Chief Operating Officer at Iceland Foods, stated the store brings deals and a range of frozen, grocery, and fresh foods to shoppers.
