Share Energy has been named official sponsor of the 25th City of Derry Jazz Festival. The event runs from April 29 to May 4 over the May Bank Holiday weekend in Derry. It features hundreds of live performances and street entertainment.

Share Energy joins Diageo as a sponsor. Most events are free. The festival draws thousands of visitors to the city.

Mayor of Derry and Strabane Councillor Ruairi McHugh welcomed the partnership. He noted the festival marks a major point in the cultural calendar. McHugh said it showcases musical talent and promotes the city and district as a visitor destination. He thanked Share Energy for supporting local arts and culture.

Ailbhe McCusker, Community Champion at Share Energy, stated the company focuses on local community involvement. She said Derry is the company's home and expressed pride in sponsoring the festival.
