Four senior dancers from the Schomberg Society's Kirknarra School of Dance performed Scottish Highland dances at a St Patrick's Day reception in the Palace of Westminster. Bethany Shields, Ivana Morris, Rachel Wilson and Mya Campbell took part in the event hosted by Jim Shannon MP and Andrew Rosindell MP.

Ulster-Scots singer Rachel Hutchinson also performed at the reception. The acts presented Ulster-Scots music, song and dance to over 200 guests.

A Schomberg Society spokesperson called the event a strong chance to present Ulster-Scots culture and commended the performers for upholding high standards. The society thanked the MPs for the invitation.

The Westminster performance belonged to a set of St Patrick's Day activities by the society. Those included a Mini Ulster-Scots St Patrick's Festival focused on Patrick as Ulster's Scottish Saint.
