Further meetings included Babson College, which partners with Queen’s University and Ulster University to train entrepreneurs. Discussions with Invest NI focused on transatlantic investment opportunities for Northern Ireland.

The minister described Northern Ireland as the UK's fastest-growing region for start-ups, citing strengths in cyber security, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing. He noted the region's skilled workforce and market access.

He expressed confidence in expanding existing business ties in Boston. The minister affirmed the government's ongoing efforts to advocate for Northern Ireland internationally.
