The Fermanagh Down Syndrome Support Group held an event in Enniskillen on Saturday to observe World Down Syndrome Day. Families, friends and supporters attended to recognise children and young people with Down syndrome.

The gathering aimed to increase awareness of inclusion. Young members of the group displayed their abilities. Organisers thanked attendees and helpers for their involvement.

Dylan, Hannah and Luca Quinn of Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre provided support. The National Lottery Community Fund also contributed to the event.

Local businesses hosted a photo exhibition with portraits taken by Luca. The images showed the subjects' personalities.

Beat Carnival performed music. Michelle Ralph of Happy Cones supplied ice cream.

Organisers noted the community effort supported kindness, acceptance and diversity. They stated that people with Down syndrome demonstrate strength, determination and joy.
