Police in north Belfast closed Antrim Road to all traffic due to a building fire. The closure spans the section between Old Cavehill Road and Chichester Park.

Emergency services responded to the scene this evening. The Police Service of Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended.

Officers asked motorists to avoid the area. The request allows firefighters to manage the incident without interference.
