The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society cancelled all poultry classes at this year's Balmoral Show. The event runs from Wednesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 16 in partnership with Ulster Bank.

A society spokeswoman stated the decision resulted from uncertainty over when the ban on bird gatherings will end. Organisers will feature a display of birds from one flock over the four days. They will also keep the egg and decorated egg classes.

Poultry classes faced cancellation at last year's show for the same reason, avian flu.
