Flout!, a pizza restaurant originally located at Portview Trade Centre off the Newtownards Road in east Belfast, plans to open a new outlet at Cathedral Buildings, 68 Donegall Street in the Cathedral Quarter.

The business received planning approval for the new site on Donegall Street several weeks ago. Owner Peter Thompson shared images of the interior on social media, stating a full tour will follow online and that the venue will open after final touches.

Thompson founded Flout! in 2021. He noted the business has expanded with projects in London and New York. He described the new site as a Belfast-specific slice shop, built with local craftsmanship including 100-year-old reclaimed pitch pine, parquet flooring, panels from the Kings Hall, and old Belfast gas lamps alongside a high-end pizza oven.

Conall Carter of Carters Workshop constructed the interior. Thompson credited past customers for supporting the growth and thanked Carter for the work since the start.
