The Belfast Telegraph received three awards at the Regional Press Awards held in London at Quaglino’s restaurant.

The publication earned News Website of the Year for the fourth year in a row. Judges noted its audience understanding and expansion into platforms like TikTok, newsletters and podcasts.

Sam McBride received Daily Reporter of the Year. His reporting covered an illegal dump near Londonderry and a cannabis farm in Hillsborough.

The Weekend magazine won Supplement of the Year. Judges highlighted its visual appeal and range of stories.

Martin Breen, Executive Editor of the Belfast Telegraph and Sunday Life, credited the newsroom's talent and dedication. He praised the audience team led by Gareth Hanna and the features team of Áine Toner and Gillian Halliday.

Breen called McBride's work a standard for public-interest journalism.
