South Eastern Regional College held events for part-time students who provide substantial care to individuals with disabilities, physical or mental illnesses, or substance misuse problems.

The events aimed to increase awareness of support options. Staff from South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust's Carer Support Service and the college's Student Carers team attended.

They provided information on support to help student carers balance their duties with studies.
