Road Policing Officers from Mahon Road Station detected a motorcyclist travelling at 126mph on the M1 Motorway. The incident occurred within the last 15 minutes.

The rider faces court proceedings in the near future. He will have to attend court where he risks losing his licence.

The M1 Motorway runs through County Antrim and connects Belfast to other parts of Northern Ireland.
