Police responded to an incident in the William Street area of Lurgan, Co Armagh, on the afternoon of 5 March. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service requested police assistance at the location near the railway line.

One woman received hospital treatment for injuries. The HEMS Air Ambulance team attended the scene alongside other emergency services.

The railway line closed in both directions between Lisburn and Portadown. Translink reported an operating incident between Lurgan and Portadown that affected services through those stations.

Officers stated the line reopened after a period. Translink indicated services faced ongoing delays while returning to normal operations.
