Tyrone Man Faces Trial on Multiple Domestic Abuse Charges
John Patrick Quinn, 34, from Knockview in Augher, appeared at Omagh Magistrates Court for a committal hearing. He faces charges related to domestic abuse incidents spanning four years.
Quinn is accused of applying pressure to a woman's throat or neck on February 18, 2024, impairing her breathing or blood flow to the brain. He faces two counts of the same offence on December 26, 2024.
Additional charges include three assaults between November 1, 2021, and December 9, 2021. He also faces a charge of engaging in abusive behaviour causing physical or psychological harm from April 9, 2023, to December 27, 2024.
A prosecutor stated a case exists to answer. District Judge Conor Heaney agreed and committed the case to Dungannon Crown Court.
