Belfast International Airport will increase its drop-off zone tariff from £3 to £5 starting Monday, March 9.

Airport officials attribute the £2 rise to cost pressures affecting businesses across Northern Ireland. Passengers can use a free drop-off area in the long-stay car park. The short-stay car park offers additional time, with 30 minutes free for blue badge holders.

The airport continues its £100 million investment programme. Recent projects include a terminal extension, security hall upgrades and an improved duty-free area.

Work on the exterior forecourt layout will begin soon to enhance traffic flow and public transport access.
