Students pursuing a Foundation Degree in Science in Health and Social Care at South West College's Erne Campus heard a guest talk from alumna Niamh Elliott on Thursday afternoon.

Elliott outlined her academic journey, starting with a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. She progressed to a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care at Ulster University and is currently completing a BSc Level 6 top-up at the same institution.

During the talk, Elliott discussed her experiences, challenges, achievements, and insights from each stage of her studies.

She also shared plans to advance to Liverpool Hope University for a postgraduate qualification in primary teaching, offering guidance to students considering similar pathways.

South West College expressed delight at Elliott's participation and wished her success in her future studies.
