A&L Goodbody expands Belfast office with ten new legal trainees
A&L Goodbody has welcomed ten new legal recruits to its Belfast office. The intake includes nine trainee solicitors and one Law Degree Apprentice.
The new starters will take part in structured development programmes combining practical experience, formal learning, and mentoring. They will work alongside experienced lawyers across various practice areas.
The firm said the intake reflects its commitment to offering different routes into the legal profession. Alongside the trainee solicitor programme, the Law Degree Apprenticeship provides an alternative pathway combining academic study with workplace experience.
Gareth Walls, a partner at A&L Goodbody's Belfast office, stated that the firm was pleased to welcome the new trainees and apprentice. He noted that starting a legal career is a significant step and that the firm aims to provide experience, support, and opportunities for rewarding careers.
Walls added that developing new legal talent is important to the firm. The recruits will learn from experienced lawyers, work with leading clients, and develop confidence, commercial awareness, and skills for their careers.
He said the firm looks forward to watching each of them grow and contribute to its future.
