BANGOR: A 32-year-old man pleaded guilty to using an e-scooter without insurance or a driving licence after being spotted by police in the city in February. Ryan Hall, of Belfast Road, Bangor, was fined £200 and received six penalty points at Ards Magistrates' Court.

NEWRY: A man and woman accused of stealing £8,605 worth of goods from multiple Tesco stores across 17 counts of theft have fled the country while on bail. Ion Marian (29) and Nicoleta Silvia Luca (21), whose last known address was in Belfast, failed to appear for their committal hearing at Banbridge Magistrates' Court sitting in Newry, and District Judge Francis Rafferty issued arrest warrants.
