BALLYMENA: A 22-year-old motorist who was caught 'drifting' a BMW round bends on a dark country road with his headlights off, crashing into a tree and flipping the car into a ditch with a passenger inside, was sentenced to 180 hours community service and banned from driving for 13 months. District Judge Nigel Broderick said Christopher Fulton, of Cullybackey Road, Ballymena, was lucky not to have killed himself and his passenger.
