Charity darts night raises £15,362 for Enniskillen mental health centre
A charity darts exhibition in Enniskillen has raised £15,362 for the Aisling Centre, a local mental health and addiction support service.
The event was organised by Mickey Dolan from Belcoo, who is a client at the centre. He said the fundraiser was part of his own recovery journey and a way to give back.
Dolan recreated the atmosphere of the World Championship Darts, with walk-on music, big screens, lighting effects and fancy dress. Eight local players competed alongside two professional darts players in a mini-tournament.
He praised Dr Aisling Donnelly for transforming his life and the lives of his family. Dolan, whose brother Brendan is a professional darts player, said he hoped to make the event an annual fundraiser for the centre.
