A music event at a County Down tearoom has raised money for a local volunteer emergency response group.

The Big Ukuhooley, a ukulele gathering, took place at the Turnip House Tearoom and craft shop near Leitrim. Proceeds from the event were donated to Slieve Croob Community First Responders.

The volunteer group provides emergency medical assistance in the Slieve Croob area, attending calls until ambulance crews arrive.

The Turnip House Tearoom hosted the fundraiser, which featured performances by multiple ukulele players.
