DUP MLA calls for O'Neill to remove Sinn Fein youth clip
DUP MLA Pam Cameron has urged First Minister Michelle O'Neill to ensure the removal of a video clip posted by Ogra Shinn Fein.
The clip shows Ms Cameron appearing to criticise Communities Minister Gordon Lyons during a meeting of the Stormont Communities Committee.
It attributes quotes to her including a reference to a "desperate shameful act by a Communities Minister who's clearly determined to make Irish invisible" in a debate over funding for the Northern Ireland Place-Name Project.
The post carries a disclaimer stating it is not AI.
In the Assembly on Monday, Ms Cameron said the clip was a complete misrepresentation of the actual facts.
She described the post as an attempt to bring negative personal attention toward her, to intimidate, to humiliate and to gag her.
Ms Cameron called the committee meeting an absolute farce and said no other committee member was involved except Sinn Fein members.
She asked the First Minister to call out what she described as dishonest, childish and malicious behaviour.
Sinn Fein has been approached for a response.
