The Mayor's Carnival Parade takes place in Lisburn on Saturday afternoon, May 9. Organised by Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, the event features 1500 participants and expects 13000 spectators.

Police advise motorists of likely traffic delays starting at 1pm. The parade assembles near Island Arts Centre and follows a route through Queen's Bridge, Linenhall Street, Market Street and Square, Railway Street, Wallace Park, Belfast Road, and Queen's Road before returning to the start.

Diversions operate during the event. Traffic conditions return to normal by 4pm.

The parade carries the theme 'A City That Sees Everyone'. It includes floats, music, and performances by local groups, school children, and community members.
