Patrick McDonagh of Erne Park in Kesh, Fermanagh, faces charges of possessing a Class B drug and a Class C drug on March dates in 2026. He also faces a charge of assaulting a police officer during the officer's duty.

McDonagh appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on April 13. The court heard he had been on bail when arrested.

His defence counsel stated he has 168 previous convictions.

McDonagh will next appear at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on April 22 to enter a plea.
