Courts: Explosion charges and drink-drive ban among Thursday's cases
BALLYMENA: A 71-year-old woman from Antrim was handed a one-year driving ban and fined £200 after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol at Junction One Retail Park in Antrim on 21 February, with an evidential reading of 84 - more than twice the legal limit of 35.
LARNE: A 43-year-old man appeared in court charged with doing an act with intent to cause an explosion likely to endanger life or cause serious injury to property, obstructing police, and possessing fireworks without a licence, following a security alert in the Glenarm area on Easter Monday.
