Members of East Belfast Scooter Club donated 190 Easter eggs to the Paediatric Unit at Ulster Hospital on Sunday. Riders started from Belfast City Hall and travelled to the hospital in east Belfast.

Richard Walker, South Eastern Trust transport lead and scooter club member, stated the club regularly supports local children. The group holds an annual Christmas fundraiser for Tor Bank School in Dundonald and has raised almost £12,000 over three years. Donations for the eggs came from Cream Café in Dundonald and Tesco in Castlereagh.

Sharon Pauley, South Eastern Trust healthcare play specialist, confirmed receipt of the 190 eggs for children staying over the Easter break.

Jackie Johnston, East Belfast Scooter Club secretary, noted strong support for the event.

Separately, 16-year-old Jasmine Parker delivered 400 Easter eggs to Ulster Hospital. She and her mother Maggie have made annual visits for eight years. Jasmine attends Belfast Model School for Girls and delivered 4,430 eggs total before the holidays. Contributors included Shankill Leisure Centre, Tesco at Ballygomartin, and Belfast Giants.

Sharon Pauley stated the eggs from Jasmine will go to the Paediatric Unit and Emergency Department.
