Jury Begins Deliberations in Lurgan Murder Trial
The jury in the murder trial of Stephen McCullagh has started deliberations at Belfast Crown Court. McCullagh faces a charge of murdering his pregnant partner Natalie McNally at her Lurgan home on December 18, 2022.
McNally was 15 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. McCullagh, aged 36 from Woodland Gardens in Lisburn, denies the charge.
The trial lasted more than four weeks. Mr Justice Kinney delivered final instructions to the jury on Monday morning.
McNally family members attended the proceedings in Court 13 throughout the trial.
