Three GP practices in Fermanagh and Tyrone plan temporary closures next week to switch to a new computer system. Castlederg Group Surgery, Ederney Surgery and Newtownstewart Surgery will shut on Friday March 6 and Monday March 9. Emergency services remain available during these dates.

Patients must order all prescriptions by March 4 to limit disruptions. Staff at the practices note that advance requests support continued operations around the changeover.

The closures form part of efforts to update patient management systems across Northern Ireland's primary care network. Health and Social Care trusts oversee such transitions to enhance record-keeping and service delivery.
