First Minister Michelle O’Neill and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly appointed Ann McRoberts as Lay Magistrate Commissioner to the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission.

The appointment took effect on 13 November 2025 for a five-year term ending 12 November 2030.

The announcement occurred on 3 March 2026.
